3S-Wick starts absorbtion of molten solder at a mere 450 degrees F. while competitive wicks start at 700 degrees or more. This lower temperature minimizes heat stress and consequently protects desoldered parts better. 3S-Wick flux is based on mildest non-corrosive, non-hygroscopic, non-conductive rosin. Used for demanding de-soldering operations in spacecraft and military electronics, 3S-Wick is a proven performer.
